San Teodoro, although an ancient city, is now a developing tourist resort, with bars and restaurants and easily accessible from the port and airport at Olbia. In its area are over 30km of coastline with numerous beaches. As you enter the town you pass the Stagno di San Teodoro with abundant wildlife, including flamingoes. Beaches include La Cinta, with its adjoining small tourist port area and Cala D'Ambra.

North of San Teodoro is Loiri Porto San Paolo, an attractive small resort from where great views and boats can be taken to the island of Tavolara. In its vicinity are small attractive beaches. Between Porto San Paulo and San Teodoro is Capo Coda di Cavallo where again there are great views of "Isola Tavolara". South, in the commune of Budoni, is the extensive beach at Ottiolu, which also features its own port area.
