Only 10 minutes (by car) from Castelsardo/Lu Bagnu is this attractive traditional Sardinian town. In its centre is the early 13th century Romanesque Abbazo di Nostra Signora. Next to it are the remains of a Benedictine monastery. Out of town along a winding and bumpy track you will find on Monte Elias the remains of a nuraghic fort perched high on a hilltop with spectacular views over the countryside and down towards Castelsardo.
