Four kilometres north of Santa Teresa di Gallura is "Capo Testa", mainland Sardinia’s most northerly point. The ancient Romans quarried granite here, (reputedly for the columns of the Parthenon) and the spectacle of the undulating rock forms on this headland is truly remarkable. Its’ dramatic granite rocks is a pleasant place for an evening walk, climb amongst the rock formations and try to find your favourite view towards Corsica (12km north).
